Testimonial: " I've been working with Peter since 2014 and, as well as always thoroughly enjoying his days at my studio, I think his documentation of my paintings is excellent. My studio is pretty small so it's a challenging space to photograph large work in, but he somehow manages it, achieving consistently very high quality images which are an accurate reflection of both the colour and materiality of my paintings. This consistency is particularly noticeable when seeing a body of work reproduced in a book -I've been lucky enough to see Peter's photography of my paintings in a number of publications, and knowing I have his flat copy images always gives me confidence that I'll be happy with this lasting record of my work" . The Extrusions are extremely challenging as they are all unique they reflect light in different ways. the set builds and lighting were always changing from one to the next. .

ART PROJECTS

Contemporary art is a galaxy. Every job is different, every work is unique, every artist has a different vision. Communication and preparation are key to a successful shoot, starting with a thorough brief, designing the optimum set for image capture, from a small artist space to large storage unit and every other location imaginable!

Phase one is creating a story board that breaks down the practicalities of shooting, finding creative solutions to lighting and all the vital components. Phase two is action, working intensively to capture the images, that fulfil the brief and meet the needs of all stakeholders.
